Research interests:
(1) Digital geometry processing: Including various topics, such as subdivision-based modelling, mesh geometry processing, topology editing, mesh optimization, mesh parameterization, deformation, conversion between different surface representations, and their applications in design and manufacturing.
(2)Shape computing and analysis: Computation of shape indicators based on all kinds of fitting methods, segmentation of meshes, validate check of meshes, and mesh modeling considering features such as smoothing and fitting of meshes with sharp features/semi-sharp features as well as remeshing with saliency.
