Biography
Sheldon Andrews is an Associate Professor of Software and IT Engineering at the École de technologie supérieure in Montreal, Canada. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2015 from McGill University, and he was later a postdoctoral researcher at Disney Research (2014-2015) and CM Labs Simulations (2016). His research interests include real-time physics simulation, computational contact mechanics, simulation of articulated mechanisms, 3D character animation, and human motion synthesis and motion capture. He has taught undergraduate courses on computer graphics and numerical computing, and graduate courses on physics-based animation.
