Biography
David Stephens has nearly 25 years of experience in the VFX and animation industries. He worked at VIFX/Blue Sky as a 3D artist on The X-Files and was an R&D Supervisor on Star Trek: Insurrection before moving to ILM to work as a digital artist on Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace. David then spent several years at Sony Imageworks, beginning with FX R&D on Hollowman and then working on other films such as Evolution, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and The Haunted Mansion. He then became FX Animation Supervisor on Open Season, I Am Legend and Watchmen. He later joined Digital Domain as CG supervisor on the films 2012 and Tron Legacy. In 2013, David joined Blizzard Animation as the FX Department Supervisor starting with Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, and later became a DFX Supervisor on World of Warcraft: Lost Honor.
