Dan Foisy
Dan Foisy obtained a MASc from the University of Toronto. In grad school, he worked as the lead integration engineer for Canada’s first space-based telescope and led the development of five additional satellites. He then started a company developing embedded computers. At General Motors, he developed IoT projects and some very large batteries. IBM came next; he worked on FPGA/GPU projects and the development of IBM’s next-gen cloud infrastructure. After working in the innovation consulting space, he arrived at one of Canada’s largest banks as the lead architect for their internal incubator. He now develops AI strategies across the organization.
