Biography
Mark Gillespie is a Computer Science PhD candidate at Carnegie Mellon University, supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. His research interests are in computer graphics and physical simulation, including variational integrators and the use of Discrete Exterior Calculus to discretize dynamical systems. Gillespie brings expertise in connections between intrinsic triangulations and applications in geometry processing, such as mesh parameterization, as well as development of educational web demos in geometry and computer graphics. http://markjgillespie.com
