Victoria Szabo
Biography
Victoria Szabo teaches visual and media studies at Duke University, where she directs the graduate program in Computational Media, Arts & Cultures as well as leads the Duke Digital Humanities Initiative at the John Hope Franklin Humanities Institute. Her work ranges from digital cultural heritage archives research and applications development to artist's games produced as part of the Psychasthenia Studio collective. She is especially interested in experience design in hybrid reality systems, and in new forms of multimodal and place-based narrative. She is the current Chair of the ACM SIGGRAPH Digital Arts Community.
