Romain Bachy is a research scientist at Facebook Reality Labs, in the area of perception science for AR and VR. He graduated with an MSc in Photography with specialization in image technology, and with an MSc in Computer Science with imaging specialization in France, and he worked for 3 years in the domain of alternative processes and digital colorimetric workflow. Then, he received a PhD in vision neuroscience at the Graduate Center for Vision Research of the State University of New York, and moved to Seattle where he now works.
