Biography
Ohad Fried is an assistant professor at the department of computer science, IDC Herzliya. He received a B.Sc. in computational biology and an M.Sc. in computer science from The Hebrew University, and a PhD in computer science from Princeton University. He was a postdoctoral research scholar at Stanford University, and has also worked at Google, Adobe, and Texas Instruments. Ohad’s work lies in the intersection of computer graphics, computer vision, and human-computer interaction, with research that focuses on tools, algorithms, and new paradigms for photo and video editing. Ohad is the recipient of several awards, including a Siebel Scholarship and a Google PhD Fellowship. His work was published in top academic venues and was highlighted by media outlets such as The Washington Post and CNN.
