Jan currently works at Dassault Systemes, with a focus on high-quality rendering and appearance representations. Since 2013 he is leading development of the Stellar Physically Correct global illumination renderer. Previously, he held a similar position at RTT AG. Jan joined RTT AG in 2006 as a research engineer and rose to head the research department in 2010. His work at RTT AG focused on realistic and measured materials in computer graphics, continuing the topic of the Ph.D. that he earned at the University of Bonn, Germany.
