Rob Donnelly is the FPGA verification lead for the Lander Vision System on the Mars 2020 Perseverance rover at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology. He graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Rob thinks in Ruby, speaks in SystemVerilog, and dreams in Rust. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, daughter, son, and their dog Ruthie.
