Nicolas Henchoz is the founder and director of the EPFL+ECAL Lab, setting a new definition of design research. Engineer, Journalist, art director, curator and author, he drives projects turning technical performance in user experience. Rather than multipling short term ideation through design thinking, he promotes disruptive but sustainable innovation, through design doing, functional prototyping and real life testing. He teaches at EPFL and ECAL, is a visiting professor at the Politecnico of Milano. He has produced and curated more than 30 exhibition in Europe and US, and is the author of serveral publication, including the book "Design for Innovative technologies, from Disruption to Acceptance"
