Christian Haene is a Research Scientist at Google. He received his doctoral degree from ETH Zurich in 2016. Before joining Google he was a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Berkeley. His research focuses on 3D reconstruction and includes semantic 3D reconstruction, environment perception and most recently end-to-end learning approaches for 3D reconstruction. For his work he received an ETH medal for outstanding doctoral theses and an Early Postdoc Mobility fellowship from the Swiss National Science Foundation.
