DescriptionThe team behind SIGGRAPH's 2019 Immersive Best-in-Show winner, reveals creative and technical insights from the award winning VR projects Baba Yaga and Namoo. Baba Yaga combines a hand crafted art style with expressive, nuanced character animation, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in VR. And as the main character, your choices impact the experience in dramatic ways. Namoo is a narrative poem come to life as an animated VR experience that follows the journey of a man from his birth until death. Namoo was created entirely in VR using Oculus Quill.
