Your Mission

Your primary objective will be to develop and optimize the DirectX rendering pipeline in the game engine. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of our games.

You will also collaborate with our external partners at other Activision studios to develop and promote Beenox’s graphic programming expertise. Lastly, you will monitor technological advances and participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives for graphic rendering.

More specifically, as a senior team member, you will be required to:

Your objectives

Find optimal solutions to the challenges of graphic rendering for games currently in development;

Establish rendering systems that meet the industry’s standards for best practices;

Develop modules for the game engine and cutting-edge graphic rendering tools;

Be the content expert for all questions about graphics;

Support new specialized peripherals for the project;

Ensure the quality and performance of developed features;

Provide user support for developed features;

Participate in knowledge transfers with the team so that members can develop their skills;

Work with and support other departments to keep production pipelines optimal.

Player Profile

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in game development for PC, console or mobile;

Experience delivering at least two video game development projects;

Proven skills in graphical programming;

Proficiency in C++;

Experience with OpenGL, Vulkan or DirectX libraries;

Knowledge of DirectX and DirectX 12 rendering pipelines, along with Shader Models 5.1 and plus;

Good grasp of mathematics;

Passionate about video games;

Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team;

Well organized and able to meet deadlines;

Ability to take charge of complex tasks and turn in quality work;

Perk: Experience in PC and console development.
