DescriptionWe visualize the effect of black holes on its distant surroundings as seen from an observer nearby in orbit. Our GPU-based solution derives an adaptive grid, mapping a 360-view of the distorted celestial sky. Using the grid, we rapidly trace rays back to the observer through spacetime at real-time rates.
