DescriptionWe present the spatially adaptive volume tools in Bifrost. Our adaptive level sets use less memory than state-of-the-art OpenVDB. Other contributions include novel algorithms for adaptive sharpened B-spline interpolation of volumes in general, meshing of adaptive level sets, and adaptive meshing of uniform narrow band level sets.
