DescriptionThe most desirable pose-based deformation techniques achieve the art direction with the fewest examples. The core problem comes down to pose-weight interpolation. Our solution, constrained weight smoothing, is inspired by mesh fairing techniques, except instead of smoothing vertex positions, we smooth pose-weights on an n-dimensional mesh in pose-space.
