Roman Zulak is an artist, who studied film at New York University. From creating custom shutters for mechanical cameras to writing plug-ins for post-production software, he became fascinated with the technology used to create and display images. After graduating NYU and a couple of years in New York working in advertising, he relocated to Berlin as a guest student at the Hochschule der Künste, and began developing custom software for contemporary artists. From a desire to shift focus back to film in 2018 he joined Sony Pictures Imageworks and in 2021 began working on the Omniverse™ platform at Nvidia.
