Deepak Vembar is a Research Scientist at Intel Labs, where he focuses on applications of machine learning to rendering. His research interests are in building real-time, immersive and interactive systems. In the past, he led efforts to develop and deploy end-to-end systems for immersive lightfields, and novel wearable devices with associated software stacks. Prior to joining Labs, Deepak worked with AAA game developers to optimize their titles on Intel platforms(client/ mobile). Deepak obtained his Masters and PhD degrees from the School of Computing at Clemson University, focusing at the intersection of graphics and human computer interaction.
