Student Project: A Silent Type - VFS Booth Session

Join current student, Miguel Sarroca, as he gives a 30 minute breakdown of a 3D Motion piece advertising the incredibly silent features of a new mechanical keyboard made for young adults and keyboard enthusiasts, for the fictional company Rezra.

Come learn about how Vancouver Film School students are working on real client projects that are transforming the way businesses use VR/AR in real life scenarios. Each 5 minute presentation will be followed by a 5 minute Q&A.

Join Mary Lim, Manager of Program Development and Interim VR/AR Program Lead, and Shane Nilsson, VR/AR Instructor as they discuss the Client Project Course within the VR/AR Design & Development Program at Vancouver Film School. Learn about the projects and how you can submit a project for the students to work on. You will have the opportunity to network and tell us about your projects.

Learn the essentials for 3D and motion design with Vancouver Film School’s award-winning motion design senior instructor Nida Fatima, as she unwraps concepts and workflows for creating artistic shaders and lighting using Maxon Cinema 4D and Redshift. She will share industry-standard processes and quick workflows that can help you efficiently start using 3D graphics to create striking visuals for any of your projects.
