Cristián Opazo is the Director of Educational Technology at the NYU College of Dentistry. He is in charge of establishing and implementing the long-term strategy for technology-enhanced education at the College of Dentistry. His areas of expertise are curricular development, instructional design, project management in higher education, and development of VR/AR learning environments. His research has been published in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Public Library of Science, and Complex Systems. He has a Ph.D. (ABD) and a Master's degree in physics from Michigan State University and a B.Sc. degree in physics from Universidad de Chile.
