Vaibhav S. Vavilala graduated from Columbia University with a B.S. in Computer Science in 2017 and is currently a PhD student at UIUC. He is credited for his work in lighting & rendering optimization on Coco, Incredibles 2, Toy Story 4, and Soul. Vaibhav most recently worked with Pixar Research to bring deep learned image super resolution to production.
