Hsin-Chien Huang is a new media creator with backgrounds in art, design, engineer and digital entertainment. His works focus on issues like "technology as a colonization mean" and "how to localize technology", in an attempt to search for new means to document and share his personal history via new media as well as to explore the public and private aspects of open source technology. Huang was awarded the grand prize of “New Voices, New Vision” new media competition in 1994, the Muse Award of America Association of Museum in 2009, and Best VR Experience in the 74th Venice Film Festival.
