Biography
Irem Bugdayci is a researcher and artist working across technologies and disciplines to redefine our understanding of perception by creating new ways of looking and experiencing reality. Fascinated by optical devices and visual instruments she creates interactive installations, eye-tracking experiments and robotics prototypes that can be characterized as "Vision Machines”. Her recent works have been exhibited at the Barbican Centre, Ars Electronica, and Istanbul Airport among other places. She completed her masters at the Interactive Architecture Lab, Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL in 2018, and holds her bachelor degree in Art History and Architecture from Tufts University.
