Nima Kalantari is an assistant professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Texas A&M University. He received his doctoral degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to joining Texas A&M, he was a postdoc in the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of California, San Diego. His research interests are in computer graphics with an emphasis on computational photography and rendering. In recent years, he has focused on developing deep learning techniques for image synthesis in these two fields.
