Biography
George Legrady is Distinguished Professor of Digital Media in the Media Arts & Technology Graduate program where he directs the Experimental Visualization Lab. George Legrady is an internationally exhibited artist and published scholar whose works address the intersections of data and its cultural analysis, photography, computer media, and digital data-based interactive installations. He is an early adopter of computer technologies since the mid-1980s. His research and projects investigate how technologies transform visual content and result in new kind of representations. He is a Guggenheim Fellow recipient (2016).
