Shalva is a master's student currently working on an augmented reality sheet music visualization system called MiXR (Music in Mixed Reality). She has published a two-page paper describing the system in ISMAR 2020. Before that she was second author on a paper describing an AR system to aid doctors in vascular interventions which was published in ISMAR 2019. When things inevitably break she copes by playing the trumpet, stress baking, or kicking things with the Columbia Taekwondo Club.
