Biography
I am a permanent researcher (Chargée de recherche) in the IMAGINE team at Inria Grenoble, France, working on computational design and digital fabrication. Until October 2017, I was a postdoctoral associate at MIT where I worked with Prof. Wojciech Matusik on the computational design of meta-materials. I obtained my PhD in 2014 from the Computer Graphics Laboratory of ETH Zurich, Switzerland, where I collaborated with Disney Research Zurich. My thesis focused on the development of novel algorithms for the design of custom deformable objects. I received my Master's degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from ENSIMAG, INP Grenoble, France, in 2004. Before starting my PhD, I was a software developer at Dassault Systèmes, in the CATIA Geometric Modeler team.
My research interests span computer graphics, computational mechanics , material science, digital fabrication and (soft)-robotics.
