Biography
Henrik Wann Jensen has been researching computer graphics rendering and global illumination
since the early 1990s. His contributions to computer graphics include the photon mapping
algorithm for global illumination, and the first techniques for efficiently rendering
subsurface scattering. He has worked at mental images, MIT, Pixar, Stanford University,
Weta, and is a Professor Emeritus at University of California, San Diego. He is also
co-founder and Chief Scientist of Luxion, where he is contributing to the rendering algorithms
in the KeyShot software product.
