Dr. Shigeo Morishima received Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in 1987. Currently, he is a professor of Pure and Applied Physics Department, Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Waseda University . From 1999 to 2010, he was an invited researcher of Advanced Telecommunication Research Laboratories. His research interests include Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Multimodal Signal Processing and Human Computer Interaction. He is a fellow of IPSJ and IIEE-J . He was a general chair of ACM VRST 2018. He received many awards. In 2020, he received CG Japan Award from the society of Art and Science.
