Prof. Chen's SIGGRAPH 2020 technical paper, HeadBlaster, presented the first wearable motion simulator that provides more persistent motion sensation than motion platforms. He founded the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Lab at National Taiwan University in 2010, and has received Best Talk and Best Paper awards from ACM CHI and ACM UIST conferences. He has over 10,000 citations on Google Scholar, and has served as Program Chair and Sub-committee Chairs for ACM CHI 2021, CHI 2020, and ACM MobileHCI 2019 conferences.
