Thomas Chen is a machine learning researcher, particularly in computer vision and data visualization. He applies machine learning in an interdisciplinary way, such as at the nexus of climate change and artificial intelligence. Thomas is a member of the U.S. Technology Policy Committee of the Association for Computing Machinery.
