Biography
Katerina Mania serves as an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Technical University of Crete, Greece after research positions at HP Labs, UK where she worked on Web3D and University of Sussex and served as an Assistant Professor in Multimedia Systems. She received her BSc in Mathematics from the University of Crete, Greece, and her MSc and Ph.D. in Computer Science
from the University of Bristol, UK. She researches perception, vision to optimize computer graphics, VR, and gaze-contingent displays. She is an Associate Editor for Presence, Tele-operators, and Virtual Environments and ACM Transactions on Applied Perception
