Presenter

Shan-Yuan is a PhD student in Computer Science and Eckhardt scholar at the University of Chicago, IL, USA. Working in Human Computer Integration Lab led by Prof. Pedro Lopes, he believes that seamless integration of haptic sensation and digital information will bring us total harmony between humans and technologies. He holds M.S. and B.S. from National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan, where he developed wearable and floor-mounted pneumatic pop-up props that bridge virtual and physical realities.
